Would have been nice if swords stayed lit without holding down a button!

These were decent quality, but you have to hold down a button to get the swords to stay lit, which was disappointing for picture taking. Also, if you like the blue and red 'circle' detail that the characters sit on, it is really flimsy plastic and the characters do not attach to it. I bought a plain costco sheet cake (personalized with "happy birthday ___" and my sons name) to put this on and it worked fine. I wished that I had bought some extra frosting to put on the bottom of the characters to make them 'stick' to the red and blue form underneath. Another option would be to have the cake details decorated with frosting instead, and just skip using the red/blue form. At any rate, my son loved his cake, even though Darth Vader and Luke Skywalker kept falling over! lol
